I am a working professional and a mom to a happy, energetic little boy. Raising my son without my village close by, I quickly learned that modern motherhood asks a lot of a woman…more than anyone tells you before you get there.

The moms who seemed to be thriving were not doing more. They were doing things differently. They had systems. They had support. They had resources that met them where they were - on a Wednesday evening, running low on everything except love.

I did not have those things. So I started building them...

Not because I had it all figured out. Because I was tired of figuring it out alone, every single day, from scratch.

And now?

My days still have mess and noise and the occasional 5pm meltdown - his and mine, both.

...But they also have calm. They have plans that are ready before the week begins. They have evenings that feel like connection instead of chaos. They have moments where I am actually present - not just physically in the room, but genuinely there, with him, in it.

And that is how Stardust and Periwinkle was born. From the real, unglamorous, deeply human experience of wanting to be a great mom, and needing a little help to get there.
